Welcome to the Guy’s & St Thomas’ Support Group

Welcome to the support group for Guy’s & St Thomas’, London. We welcome anyone diagnosed with, recovering from, or having recovered from oesophageal or stomach cancer. We also welcome those facing gastric difficulties or individuals experiencing difficulty swallowing or eating food. Whatever your circumstances, we are here to offer support, and we hope you will consider joining us at our next group meeting. Our meetings take place on the third Monday of every month.   We have about 60 -100 patients and carers who attend, some of whom had their surgery many years ago and have a good quality of life.   There will be somebody in the room who has a similar problem to yourself even when it is unusual – so we get used to asking questions and finding answers!  Have a look below to see some of the London talks which have taken place.
