Exploring what is a good day in the life of people living with cancer
Research Study
We are currently supporting Celia Diez de los Rios, Research Fellow at the European Oncology Nursing Society (EONS), who is working with the University of Glasgow on a project to explore what is a good day in the life of people living with cancer.
Summary of Research Project
The GoodDay project will explore how people affected by cancer understand and describe a ‘good day’ in their life. It will also explore what things they identify as contributing to the experience of a good day.
The study will enable people affected by cancer to think about what makes a positive impact on their life. We will use the results of this study to refocus cancer care to target and support people’s positive life experiences for better wellbeing.
What’s involved?
The study involves one online or telephone interview with the researcher.
You can take part in this study if you are older than 18 and you have been diagnosed with one of these cancers: lung, liver, brain, oesophageal, pancreatic or stomach cancer.
You can take part if you speak any of these languages: English, Dutch, Greek, Portuguese and Spanish. You may live anywhere in Europe.
If you have any questions or would like to be involved, please contact Celia directly at Celia.DiezdelosRiosdelaSerna@glasgow.ac.uk
