Our free patient buddy service is an over the phone service that is here for you. No matter where you live in the UK our phone lines are always open to answer any questions you have.
Our Patient Buddy Program pairs you with a volunteer who has personal experience with cancer. Your buddy can provide:
- Emotional support and understanding from someone who has been through a similar experience.
- Practical advice on managing treatment side effects, coping strategies, and navigating the healthcare system.
- A listening ear to share your concerns.

Most patients find it helpful and encouraging to talk to someone who has experienced similar symptoms and has undergone the same course(s) of treatment. Our volunteers (all of whom are current or former patients themselves) are on hand and willing to offer you support, encouragement and reassurance.
