Acid Reflux – Quench the fire

Part 4

There’s also a product called Poliprotect (Neo Bianacid) made from plants like aloe vera, marshmallow, liquorice and chamomile all of which may help sooth the oesophagus.  In one study, this product was shown to be as effective as omeprozole, the medication that is used to treat reflux by stopping stomach acid production.  But unlike omeprozole it doesn’t affect the microbiome.  It’s an Italian product, but can be purchased online.
