Virtual Patient and Public Interest Group (PAPIG) Meeting
Be part of the medicine conversation in Wales
Summary
The All Wales Therapeutics and Toxicology Centre (AWTTC) is part of the NHS in Wales and works with patients, NHS Wales colleagues, the pharmaceutical industry, Welsh Government and relevant UK-wide organisations, to advise on new medicines and make sure medicines are used effectively, safely and appropriately in Wales.
They would like your input in their work and hear your views and experiences on the access to and use of medicines in the NHS in Wales. PAPIG meetings are an opportunity for you to talk to them, hear about their work and find out how you can get involved.
Although these meetings are most relevant to people living in Wales, everyone is welcome to attend. Meetings are online, usually last less than 2 hours and are chatty, informal and friendly. The next meeting is on 12 September at 10 am and will include talks on:
- Medicines Safety Week and World Patient Safety Day – raising awareness on medicines safety
- Unveiling medicines safety trends
Dates for future meetings on the AWTTC website at awttc.nhs.wales/papig. You can also watch videos of past PAPIG meetings here too.
