Help to design a feasibility research study?

What is the aim of the study?

The intention is to involve people who have received treatment for oesophageal or stomach cancer to help us understand, design and develop an integrated digital prehabilitation (health improvement) service for future patients. We would also welcome carers and / or partners participation in this event.

What does participation involve?

We will take a few minutes to explain the study design to you, the planned intervention and then ask your thoughts on the study design, whether it’s worthwhile and how we can improve the intervention to make sure it is tailored to patient needs and requirements.

When will it take place?

We are looking for approximately 10 people to participate in a group-based video call at 11:00am on Monday 5th July 2021.

What happens next?

If you consent to participate in this event, a member of the team will contact you via email with a video link and further instructions for the day. The group-session will take no longer than 45 minutes.
Your participation in this project will be of great importance and will play a significant role in improving the delivery of care moving forwards.
As a small token of our appreciation, you will also receive a £15 Amazon Voucher for your participation.

Can I withdraw at any time?

Participation is completely voluntary, and you may withdraw from the interview at any time. All information provided will be treated in complete confidence.
